Christa Holton has over 15 years of experience in higher education primarily managing large admissions teams for a variety of institutions spanning multiple campuses and states. Her primary goal as Campus Director is to provide vision and leadership. This includes planning, organizing and leading campus operations in order to provide effective career-centered education directed towards gainful employment.
Christa comes to Northwestern College most recently from Orbis Education of Indianapolis, IN, an organization that partners with leading colleges, universities and healthcare systems to deliver hybrid healthcare education programs. Prior to Orbis, Christa spent nine years as a Senior Director of Admissions for Education Management Corporation’s (EDMC) Argosy University. She spent the first five years at the Argosy Atlanta Campus, where she transformed the campus from one of the weaker performing schools into the top performing campus nationwide. After the successful turnaround of the Atlanta Campus, EDMC moved Christa to Argosy’s flagship location in Chicago, IL. Christa spent the next two years returning the Chicago Campus to the pinnacle of the Argosy portfolio. While leading both the Atlanta and Chicago campuses, Christa directed 30 admissions professionals, while simultaneously establishing collaborative relationships with academic program chairs.
