Program Director, School of Commerce
Ali Baker has 20 years qualitative management experience in large scale to smaller privately owned businesses. Baker specializes in the development of start-up operations and the restructuring of existing operations – emphasizing her talents in maximizing organizational efficiency. She specializes in change management with focus on: communication, technology, policy development/implementation, leadership, and culture/cross functional alignment within work teams.
Baker has spent the past four years focusing her strengths in academic administration for the School of Commerce. She instructs on ground and online courses in the subjects of: commerce (business administration, executive accounting, and human resource management), information technology, and professional development disciplines. She has progressed from a private tutor, substitute teacher, adjunct faculty, full-time faculty, program coordinator, to program director.
